Michael Page needs a new opponent for his next fight in London.
MMA Fighting confirmed with officials that Derek Anderson has been forced to withdraw from his Nov. 23 welterweight main event bout opposite “MVP.” The news was first reported by FanSided.
The reason for Anderson’s withdrawal was not disclosed.
This is the second time that a bout between Anderson and Page has fallen through. The two were previously booked to compete at Bellator 179 in May 2019, but that bout was canceled when Page suffered a knee injury.
Officials are seeking a replacement opponent for Page.
Coming off of his first loss, Page rebounded with a first-round knockout of Richard Kiely in September. He won his 14 pro bouts before losing to Douglas Lima in the semifinals of the Bellator World Welterweight Grand Prix.
