UFC Fight Night: Makhachev vs Moises (RESULTS)

Winning Bets

Amanda Lemos ITD (1.20 units)

This bet was an easy winner as Lemos was able to finish Ruiz in just 35 seconds. Her power was too much for Ruiz to handle. And it’s that power that’ll make her a force to deal with in the straw-weight division going forward.

Islam Makhachev (1.50 units)

Makhachev completely dominated the fight from start to finish. He was able to wear out Moises ultimately submitting him in round 4. His game is improving with every fight. Unless someone can KO him, he’s going to win every fight he’s in.

Losing Bets

Billy Quarantillo by decision (-1 unit)

Our thoughts came to fruition with Quarantillo being able to control and outscore Benitez over the course of the fight. We took a little bit of a bad beat with the fight being stopped with only 80 seconds left. Benitez was beat up and bloodied but he wasn’t hurt at the time of the stoppage.

Dustin Stoltzfus ITD (-1 unit)

This was a bad bet as Stoltzfus was submitted in round 3. Viera fought a more disciplined fight enabling him to maintain his cardio longer. Since he didn’t gas out early our chances for a Stoltzfus stoppage became non existent.

Mateusz Gamrot by decision (-1 unit)

This also turned out to be a bad bet as Gamrot was able to finish Stephens in 65 seconds. Stephens is normally a durable fighter but he got caught in a kimura and was forced to tap quickly.

UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Dillashaw (PLAYS)

Jordan Williams over Mickey Gall ITD +160 (0.75 units) Bet was placed on 7/23/21.

Jordan Williams was able to cut down to 170 pounds. He packed good power at 185 pounds and it should transfer down to welterweight. Mickey Gall isn’t very good and probably doesn’t belong in the UFC. He’s a one dimensional grappler who has a poor gas tank. If Gall can’t get the fight to the ground then the opportunity for Williams to land something big and finish him becomes live.

Punahele Soriano over Brendan Allen ITD +160 (0.75 units) Bet was placed on 7/23/21.

This is a classic striker vs grappler matchup with Soriano being the striker. He packs big power and can end a fight at any moment. Allen would be better served trying to drag the fight to the ground. Soriano however has a wrestling and judo background which should enable him to keep the fight standing. If the fight plays out on the feet then Allen will be in danger of getting KO’d at some point.

Darren Elkins over Darrick Minner +125 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 7/23/21.

This fight should play out on the ground as both fighter implement a grapple heavy approach. Minner usually goes all out seeking a submission while Elkins is comfortable grinding you out over the course of the fight. Minner is usually sub or bust and Elkins has only been submitted once in the UFC. We feel he’ll be able to stay safe and most likely grind out a victory.

Cory Sandhagen over TJ Dillashaw ITD +110 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 7/23/21.

TJ Dillashaw is coming off a suspension for PED’s and has only fought 3 times in the last 4 years. Cory Sandhagen has flourished as a fighter with 10 fights over that same time frame. This fight is the old guard vs the new breed of fighter. Sandhagen comes into this fight battle tested against some of the best names in the division.

Dillashaw is now 35 years old, coming off a 2 year layoff, and no longer has PED’s to help him. And he’s being matched up against one of the top 3 bantamweights in the world. That appears to be too much for him to overcome. We see Sandhagen being able to clip him at some point and finishing him shortly after.

Julio Arce / Jordan Williams / Ian Heinisch / Miranda Maverick / Kyler Phillips / Cory Sandhagen parlay +1035 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 7/23/21.

Julio Arce is better everywhere the fight goes and should be able to outpoint Ewell. Ian Heinisch holds a big wrestling advantage and should look to take Imavov down early and often. Miranda Maverick is a better technical fighter than Barber and should be able to outpoint her. Kyler Phillips is a legit prospect and Paiva is moving up in weight taking the fight on short notice.
