Lupita Godinez / Manon Fiorot parlay (-3 units)
We had Godinez on all of our tickets and she came up just short. So the end result was all of our tickets lost. That’s the risk when you put all your eggs in one basket. We felt Godinez was the better overall fighter and Carolina isn’t very good. All of that still may be true but last week Carolina was the better fighter. We should’ve paid more attention to the fact that Godinez was moving up in weight and was returning to fight in literally one week. Live and learn.
Fiorot was able to comfortably win her fight against the dangerous Mayra Bueno Silva. Her striking was much better as we figured and she was able to get the decisive decision victory.
Lupita Godinez / Manon Fiorot / Jim Miller parlay (-0.5 units)
Jim Miller was dominant in his fight and we would’ve hit this parlay if not for the Godinez loss. It was a complete mismatch across the board as Miller held the edge everywhere. The fact that Miller was able to get a KO finish for only the 2nd time in his storied career confirms how lopsided the matchmaking was in Miller’s favor.
Lupita Godinez / Manon Fiorot / Jim Miller /Norma Dumont parlay (-0.5 units)
Sadly this is another parlay that would’ve hit if not for the Godinez loss. We felt Dumont would be the better striker and would be difficult for Ladd to take down and that’s exactly what happened. When Ladd couldn’t get the fight to the ground she was there to be out struck on the feet. Dumont was able to roll to an easy unanimous decision victory.
Lupita Godinez / Manon Fiorot / Jim Miller /Norma Dumont / Brandon Davis parlay (-0.5 units)
Even had Godinez won her fight we would’ve lost this ticket because of the Davis loss. But he was an underdog and was the least confident pick out of them all. We felt he’d put in a spirited effort since he earned his way back to the UFC after being cut. Batgerel had other plans as he was able to finish the durable Davis in just a few minutes of round 1. His power was way too much for Davis to handle.
UFC Fight Night: Costa vs Vettori (PLAYS)
Zviad Lazishvili / Gregory Rodrigues parlay +221 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 10/22/21.
We’re going with the debuting Lazishvili in this spot. Fading Georgian fighters is a risky proposition as they historically have had great success in the UFC. Lazishvili comes here undefeated at 12-0 against mostly suspect competition. In his last 2 fights however he’s stepped up in competition and has been equally as dominant. He has excellent wrestling and ground control when the fight hits the mat. His striking is decent enough to put him in a position to get the fight to the canvas.
Jonathan Martinez will be another step up in competition for him. He’s a good fighter with much more high level experience. If Lazishvili is unable to get the fight to the ground then he should get dominated on the feet by the much better striker in Martinez. However we feel he will be able to take Martinez down and control him and ultimately get the victory.
Gregory Rodrigues has been on a roll lately winning his last 3 fights. He has big power and great BJJ although he hardly ever uses it. He’s getting a step up in class against Park but he’s the much more athletic fighter. If the fight stays standing he should dominate. If the fight hits the ground then he can implement that BJJ. We feel Rodrigues will keep rolling and get the win in this spot.
Zviad Lazishvili / Jessica-Rose Clark parlay +188 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 10/22/21.
Jessica-Rose Clark is returning after being off for a year due to a knee injury. She’s the more physical, experienced fighter in this spot. Edwards isn’t all that good of a fighter. She has good striking but her ground game needs work. Clark should look to test it as she’s the much better grappler. We feel Clark will be better anywhere the fight plays out and should get a dominant victory when all is said and done.

We took a round robin betting approach to this weeks card. There weren’t many fights we liked so we linked all the fighters we liked into multiple 2 fight parlays. Since we already broke down these fights they happened to end up on one of the multiple 2 fight parlay tickets.
Jessica-Rose Clark / Gregory Rodrigues / Zviad Lavishvili parlay +405 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 10/22/21.
We ended up parlaying all the fighters that we liked into a 3 leg parlay. If they all hit then we cash all parlay tickets. If one fighter losses then we still have a chance to hit on 1 of the 4 tickets. Once again we run the risk of losing multiple tickets if we’re wrong on just one fight. But that’s why parlays pay good when they hit.
Jeff Molina & Daniel Lacerda fight doesn’t go to decision +110 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 10/22/21.
The handicap on this fight is pretty straight forward. Lacerda has never been out of round 1 in his career. Also Molina has only been the distance in only 3 of his 11 fights. We feel Lacerda will bring his kamikaze style of fighting to this fight which opens the door for him or his opponent to end up in a dominant position. This should be an exciting fight for the duration of it and hopefully it ends inside the distance.
