UFC Fight Night: Luque vs Muhammad 2 (RESULTS)

Losing Bets

Devin Clark by decision (-1 unit)

This bet looked like we were going to cash it. Clark was on his way to winning a unanimous decision with his wrestling as expected. What wasn’t expected was him taking Knight out with his striking with less than 2 minutes remaining in the fight.

Pat Sabatini ITD (-1 unit)

The better fighter won but not by how we were hoping. Sabatini was in advantageous positions but wasn’t able to submit Laramie at any point during the fight. We bit on the nice plus odds but ultimately it turned out to be a bad bet.

Vicente Luque ITD (-1 unit)

Our fears came to fruition with Muhammad being able to out wrestle Luque for much of the fight. He also had striking success from distance as well. Luque’s only chance to finish came in round 3 when he hurt Muhammad but he was able to survive and cruised to a unanimous decision victory.

UFC Fight Night: Lemos vs Andrade (PLAYS)

Philipe Lins / Lando Vannata parlay +274 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 4/22/22.

Philipe Lins has been bad in his UFC career. He’s gone 0-2 with both losses coming at heavyweight. Now he’s dropping down to light heavyweight. Marchin Prachnio is an average at best fighter. We see Lins having the much faster hands, bigger power, and better ground game.

Lando Vannata holds a distinct wrestling advantage over Charles Joudain. Jourdain is purely an exciting striker. Should the fight remain standing Vannata is no slouch on the feet as well. We feel he’ll use his wrestling to his advantage and most likely win a decision.

Jordan Wright over Marc-Andre Barriault round 1 +500 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 4/22/22.

Jordan Wright has a kill or be killed fighting style. He fights fast and furious. Because of it his fights rarely get out of the 1st round. Barriault is coming off a quick 1st round loss where he got clipped and finished before he knew what happened. We’re taking a shot that Wright can do the same here in this spot.

Jordan Wright & Marc Andre Barriault FDGTD / Jessica Andrade parlay +113 (3 units) Bet was
placed on 4/22/22.

We just pointed out how Jordan Wright’s fights rarely go beyond 1 round. When he’s not finishing his opponent he’s getting finished by them. He’s never been beyond round 2 in any fight and we don’t see that changing here. He’s most likely either going to get a finish or get finished well before the final horn sounds.

Amanda Lemos is on a 5 fight winning streak. When you dig a little deeper you see that the competition wasn’t very good though. When she stepped up in competition she barely was able to pull out a split decision. Now she finds herself facing Jessica Andrade.

Andrade is a former champion and is literally one of the top 3 in the world in any weight class she fights in. She’s strong and presses forward non stop. Lemos most likely will need to get an early finish because we don’t see her being able to withstand Andrade’s pressure for 5 rounds.
