UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Song (RESULTS)

Winning Bets

Gillian Robertson ITD (+1.50 units)

The grappler beat the striker in this matchup. Robertson was able to get the fight to the ground and eventually submit Agapova. It was scary to watch as Agapova didn’t tap while getting choked out with her tongue sticking out.

Joe Pyfer round 1 (1.31 units)

The UFC went out of their way to give Pyfer an easy matchup in his UFC debut and he didn’t disappoint. It came towards the end of the round but Pyfer’s striking was too much and he was able to TKO the outgunned Amendovski.

Losing Bets

Javid Basharat & Tanner Boser parlay (-1 unit)

The 1st leg of this parlay hit with Basharat getting the victory. He was just better than Gravely and had more output as well. He’s a nice looking prospect who’s going to be a tough out.

The parlay died however when Boser couldn’t get the job done. Boser’s takedown defense was atrocious and ultimately cost him the win. He was clearly the better striker and had Nascimento in big trouble. But Nascimento was able to get multiple takedowns and Boser couldn’t make his way back up to his feet.

UFC Fight Night: Dern vs Yan (PLAYS)

Mike Davis / John Castaneda / Randy Brown parlay +184 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 10/1/22.

Davis is a good fighter but he’s relatively inactive. He has an easy path to victory in this spot with his wrestling. Borshchev couldn’t stop a takedown if his life depended on it in his fight against Marc Diakiese. Davis is a better wrestler than Diakiese. Davis is a good striker too in case he displays bad fight IQ by not taking the fight to the ground early and often.

Castaneda is coming off an impressive win in his last fight. And he’s getting a step down in completion here. If he’s able to survive round 1 he should be able to coast to a victory.

Brown holds all the advantages over Trinaldo in the spot. Size, speed, youth are all in Brown’s favor. As long as he can avoid the looping right hand bomb from Trinaldo he should be good for the win.

Guido Cannetti over Randy Costa +225 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 10/1/22.

Those same advantages Brown has over Trinaldo are the same ones Costa has over Cannetti. The difference however is Costa is a round 1 fighter. If Cannetti can survive round 1 then he has a legit shot to spring the upset as Costa is a hall of fame gasser.

Guido Cannetti in round 2 +1100 (0.5 units) Bet was placed on 10/1/22

As previously mentioned Costa is a round 1 fighter. All of his wins have come in round 1. Also all of his losses have come in round 2. If Cannetti can survive round 1 he will be live for a round 2 finish at juicy odds.

Brendan Allen over Krzysztof Jotko by decision +300 (0.5 units) Bet was placed on 10/1/22.

This is a closely lined fight and Allen may be the better fighter. Jotko is tough to finish as he’s a grizzled veteran. We feel Allen can do enough to win the fight on the judges scorecard with his diverse fighting style. While a finish for Allen is possible we feel the more likely victory outcome would be by decision.

Philipe Lins / Ilir Latifi / Joaquim Silva & Jesse Ronson FDGTD / Randy Costa & Guido Cannetti FDGTD parlay +543 (0.31 units) Bet was placed on 10/1/22.

Lins has a losing record in the UFC but has a winnable matchup against Grishin. He’s the more athletic fighter with the faster hands. Latifi is a powerhouse and this could be Oleinik’s last fight. He should be good enough to get the win in this spot. The Silva & Robson fight should have a good amount of violence in it. Enough to where the fight doesn’t make it to the scorecards. And finally Costa & Cannetti should be pure fire until someone gets finished. Costa has never gone past round 2 in his career.
