UFC Fight Night: Strickland vs Imavov (RESULTS)
Winning Bets
Dan Ige ITD (+2.25 units)
This fight went exactly how we felt it would go. Ige was the much better striker and the fight played out on the feet. It was only a matter of time before Ige caught Jackson with a fight ending shot which cashed our bet.
Javid Basharat & Dan Ige parlay (+1.28 units)
As previously mentioned Ige did his part to hold up his end of the parlay. We felt strong about him winning so we decided to add him to a parlay just in case he couldn’t finish Jackson.
Basharat was in a competitive fight but proved he’s a special talent. He easily was able to out point the promising Mendonça and get the decision victory.
Losing Bets

UFC 283: Teixeira vs Hill (PLAYS)
Josiane Nunes ITD & Gregory Rodrigues FDGTD parlay +125 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 1/20/23.
Nunes is a finisher and is facing a fighter who’s been finished twice in the 1st round in the UFC. We feel her relentless pressure will ultimately lead to a finish over Fairn. There’s a big size advantage for Fairn in this matchup but the bottom line is she isn’t a very good fighter and doesn’t belong in the UFC.
The Rodrigues vs Ferreira fight is destined to end inside the distance. Rodrigues has good power and tends to get rocked in every fight. Ferreira has finished everyone he’s faced and has never made it past round 2 in any of his fights. Something completely unexpected would have to occur for this fight to go to decision.
Jailton Almeida by TKO +200 (0.50 units) Bet was placed on 1/20/23.
Almeida is going to win this fight inside the distance unless he slips on a banana peel. He has a track record of winning by submission and occasionally wins by TKO.
Abdurakhimov has a history of losing by TKO and rarely loses by submission. For those reasons we’re taking a shot on him to lose by TKO. We can easily see a scenario where Almeida is in a dominant position on the ground and decides to pound him out instead of choking him out. The +200 odds on an Almeida finish by TKO were worth the risk.
Gabriel Bonfim & Israel Bonfim parlay +207 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 1/20/23.
We’re taking a chance on The Bonfim Bros parlay. Both are making their UFC debuts against UFC established opposition. Gabriel is 13-0 and is a finisher. Lazzez is a pure striker who will be out of water if the fight hits the ground.
Ismael is the more well rounded of the Bonfim brothers. He’s facing McKinney who’s basically a one round fighter with big power. We feel Ismael will be able to withstand the McKinney onslaught and get off his own offense and get the finish.
Ismael Bonfim wins in round 1 +500 (0.50 units) Bet was placed on 1/20/23.
As just mentioned Bonfim will have to survive the scary power of McKinney. We feel he will be able to and ultimately finish McKinney. It just needs to happen in round 1 for our bet to cash. McKinney has crazy power but gasses badly. He also is prone to getting tagged and isn’t very durable once he’s hurt. We feel there’s a realistic chance that Bonfim can hurt him in round 1 and finish him shortly after. Once again the juicy odds justify the play in our opinion.
Glover Teixeira +115 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 1/20/23.
The line appears to be off and Teixeira should be the favorite in our opinion. He holds almost all of the advantages in this matchup except for age and power. He’s 43 years old but has yet to show his age and is currently in the best form of his UFC career.
Hill is an excellent fighter with one shot power to end a fight at any moment. If he can’t finish Teixeira however then he most likely will be in trouble. Teixeira is no slouch himself on the feet and if the fight hits the ground it could be a total mismatch. We feel Teixeira will make a concerted effort to get the fight to the ground. Hill was taken down 6 times by Thiago Santos in his last fight and he’s not known for his wrestling. Hill feels to be KO or bust as Teixeira should be able to outwork or finish him if the fight gets extended.
