Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is on the eve of crowning its first-ever “baddest motherfucker,” with top-ranked Welterweight contenders Jorge Masvidal (No. 3) and Nate Diaz (No. 6) officially on weight for their five-round pay-per-view (PPV) main event tomorrow night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2019) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
But this weekend is also about leveraging the “BMF” juice to promote its championship triple header, UFC 245, which takes place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 14, 2019.
The live press conference will take place today (Fri., Nov. 1, 2019) at 5 p.m. ET at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. UFC 245’s inaugural pre-fight press conference, which will be emceed by company president Dana White, is free to attend and open to the public.
Here’s who will be on the dais with White from UFC 245’s fight card (see it):
- Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman
- Former interim Welterweight champion Colby Covington
- Featherweight champion Max Holloway
- Alexander Volkanovski
- Women’s Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes
- Germaine de Randamie
In addition to expletive-laden trash talk and loosely-controlled chaos, a potentially volatile staredown between Usman and Covington will almost certainly be on today’s menu. In addition, “The Rock” — who will be responsible for awarding the BMF belt to the winner tomorrow night — is also expected to be making a “special announcement” during today’s press conference.
You’d be a fool to miss it.
For those who can’t make it to the “Big Apple” today we’ve got you covered — the press conference will stream live in the video player above. In addition, we will be on the scene with additional coverage to provide later tonight and/or first thing tomorrow.
