UFC Fight Night: Lemos vs Andrade (RESULTS)

Jordan Wright & Marc Andre Barriault FDGTD / Jessica Andrade parlay (+3.39 units)
This parlay went according to plan. The Wright fight didn’t make it out of the 1st round as is the case for almost all of his fights. Andrade showed there are levels to mma and she’s on another level compared to Lemos.
Losing Bets
Philipe Lins / Lando Vannata parlay (-1 unit)
Philipe Lins did his part as he was able to outpoint Prachnio and get the win. We don’t know what happened with Lando Vannata however. He didn’t look good on the scales pre fight and looked bad during the fight. Jourdain was able to submit him in round 1 and he’s not known for his submissions.
Jordan Wright round 1 (-1 unit)
We knew that Jordan Wright is a feast or famine fighter who’s fights end early. He normally goes right after his opponents and seeks an early finish. Barriault was coming off a loss where he got smoked in 16 seconds. Rather than trying to blitz Barriault Wright decided to fight measured for the 1st time in his career and got submitted in round 1.
UFC Fight Night: Font vs Vera (PLAYS)
Daniel Da Silva ITD over Francisco Figueiredo +250. Bet was placed on 4/29/22.
Daniel Da Silva had a tough matchup in his UFC debut going against the prospect Jeff Molina. He held his own for a round before getting finished in round 2. Now he’s getting a big step down in competition going against Francisco Figueiredo. We feel that Figueiredo isn’t UFC material and is only there because of his brother Deiveson. Da Silva is an explosive fighter and we feel it’s conceivable that he finishes the lesser Figueiredo.
Jared Gordon over Grant Dawson +150 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 4/29/22.
Grant Dawson is undefeated in his UFC career. He likes to implement a grapple heavy, ground and pound approach. Jared Gordon is a good all around fighter with the better striking of the two. We feel this should be a close fight where Dawson looks good early and Gordon comes on late with a chance for the decision victory.
Andrei Arlovski by decision over Jake Collier +150 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 4/29/22.
Arlovski fights at this stage in his career have been somewhat easy to handicap. When they match him up against ranked opponents he loses. When he fights low level unranked opponents he wins. Collier is a low level unranked opponent. Arlovski doesn’t really finish people these days. As with most of his fights this one should be close and make it to the final horn but we see him doing enough to get the decision victory.
Marlon Vera over Rob Font +105 (2 units) Bet was placed in 4/29/22.
This is a closely lined fight and we’re siding with the slight underdog Vera. Rob Font is a step below the very best fighters in his division. He has a strong boxing base and a good overall fighter. He’s coming off a grueling loss against the ageless Jose Aldo.
Marlon Vera is a slow starter but gets stronger as the fight goes on. He also packs good power and has a sneaky good BJJ game. We feel Vera will be able to land on Font and accumulate damage on him as the fight gets later. Font is durable but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Vera finish him at some point.
Daniel Da Silva / Marlon Vera / Andre Fili parlay +415 (1 unit) Bet was placed on 4/29/22.
We already covered why we feel Da Silva and Vera will win. That leaves us with Andre Fili. Simply put we feel Fili is the better fighter with a huge experience advantage. This will be Fili’s 18th UFC fight while Brito is making his 2nd UFC appearance. Fili’s losses generally have come against legit, ranked, opponents which Brito is far from. Aside from a quick Brito finish Fili should be able to outpoint and possibly finish the outclassed Brito.
