UFC Rio Rancho poster released

A light heavyweight rematch with legitimate title contender implications is front and center on the official poster for UFC Rio Rancho.

In the main event, Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz meet again after their first clash, which took place at UFC 191 on Sept. 5, 2015. The fight was in the early stages of both men’s Octagon runs.

Recently, both fighters have been on the hot streak, with Anderson winning four straight fights, including an explosive finish of Johnny Walker, and Blachowicz recently earning a split nod over Ronaldo Souza to pick up his sixth win in seven fights.

Also featured on the UFC Rio Rancho event poster is longtime veteran and New Mexico’s own Diego Sanchez. He faces Michel Pereira in the welterweight co-main event.

UFC Rio Rancho takes place at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, N.M., with the main card airing live on the ESPN+ streaming service.
