Video: Mac Flaunts Punishing Ground Game

MMA news

If Donald Cerrone is “stupid” for striking with Conor McGregor in the UFC 246 pay-per-view (PPV) main event this Sat. night (Jan. 18, 2020) in Las Vegas, does that make “Notorious” stupid for grappling with “Cowboy?”

He may not have a choice, as Cerrone has 17 wins by submission and is one of the more crafty grapplers McGregor has faced. That’s why the Irishman’s jiu-jitsu coach, Dillon Danis, is working diligently to prevent a repeat of this.

All four of McGregor’s professional losses have come by way of submission but to be fair, Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov are two of the very best in the game when it comes to submission fighting, capable of tapping anyone in their respective weight classes.

Then again, it only takes one punch…
