Super necessary?
United States President Donald Trump is expected to attend the upcoming UFC 244: “Masvidal vs. Diaz” pay-per-view (PPV) event, going down this Sat. night (Nov. 2, 2019) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
That’s according to New York Times reporter Annie Karni.
Trump has been a longtime supporter of UFC dating back to the dark days of smoky Atlantic City casinos. In fact, UFC President Dana White is so grateful for the early support from the real estate mogul, he “stood” at the Republican National Convention.
This has to be a mighty blow to top welterweight contender, Colby Covington, who appeared at the White House in 2018 and has long supported the Trump administration. “Chaos” was originally booked for his Kamaru Usman title fight in the UFC 244 main event, which was later moved to UFC 245 in Las Vegas.
No doubt Trump will get his fair share of reactions this weekend in the “Big Apple.”
