UFC veteran Felice Herrig was attacked in Las Vegas shortly following the conclusion of tonight’s UFC 246 event.
The women’s strawweight standout took to Instagram late this evening where she revealed the shocking news.
“Vegas sucks!!! Some chick got mad at me for giving her shit over stopping traffic over a penny. She then proceeded to punch me in the face. I punched her back but didn’t want to be too violent because I was protecting my knee and hair.” Felice Herrig explained. “She ran off like a little bitch. The END. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”
Felice Herrig was slated to return against Xiaonan Yan in June but was forced to withdraw after she suffered a torn ACL in training.
Tonight’s UFC 246 event was headlined by a welterweight bout between Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone.
McGregor needed only forty seconds to dispose of ‘Cowboy’ and reassert himself as one of the best fighters in the game.
Cerrone was clearly frustrated by the loss but vowed to continue fighting in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan (see that here).
As for Felice Herrig, who was in attendance at tonight’s UFC 246 event, the 35-year-old is hoping to make a return to action later this year.
