Journey Newson’s 38-second knockout at UFC 247 will live on as a highlight, but no longer in the record books.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) has overturned Newson’s victory over Domingo Pilarte to a no contest due to a failed drug test, per documents obtained by ESPN on Wednesday.

The change of result has been reflected on mixedmartialarts.com, the official online record-keeper of the sport. Newson’s manager, Jason House of Iridium Sports, told ESPN that Newson tested positive for marijuana. Newson could also face a fine and suspension, likely no longer than 90 days, per Texas regulations.

Newson (9-2, 1 NC) originally earned his first UFC victory, though it will not be reflected on his record. The 31-year-old Oregon native was on a six-fight winning streak before signing with the UFC. He dropped his UFC debut to Ricardo Ramos by unanimous decision last June.
