He might be an amateur, but Will Spann III’s picked up a finish on Friday that was worthy of the pros.
Less than 20 seconds into his opening flyweight bout opposite Jordan DeJesus at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 80 in Hampton, Va., Spann landed a head kick right on the jaw that flattened DeJesus.
Spann, 21, has now recorded back-to-back finishes competing in Virginia’s regional circuit.
