Conor McGregor is poised to return from a 15-month mixed martial arts (MMA) hiatus this weekend (Sat., Jan. 18, 2020), taking on Donald Cerrone in UFC 246’s five-round ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) Welterweight main event from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s been a rollercoaster ride outside the Octagon for the promotion’s first-ever “champ-champ,” who has not won a sanctioned fight in more than three years.

Unsanctioned? Well, that’s a whole different story (or stories).

Making up for lost promotional time, “Notorious” recently sat down with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani to discuss a smorgasbord of topics. Thankfully, the lengthy video has been earmarked for our collective convenience:

  • The improvements he’s made for his well-being: 12:15
  • McGregor addresses (and denies) sexual assault allegations: 14:33
  • How becoming a father for the second time has changed him: 16:23
  • Fighting Donald Cerrone at UFC 246: 24:15
  • The destructive build up to his UFC 229 bout vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov: 31:54
  • Negotiating a new contract with UFC: 35:40
  • Working with Tony Robbins: 40:33
  • His aspirations of becoming a billionaire by age 35: 41:47
  • Wanting a rematch with Floyd Mayweather and (44:40) having talks about a potential boxing match vs. Manny Pacquiao (details).
