Former Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov is expected to meet Sabah Homasi in Bellator 264 on Aug. 13.

That’s according to MMA Junkie, which reported the fight will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. It would be his first fight under the Bellator banner since October 2019.

Koreshkov (23-4 MMA, 13-4 BMMA) fought outside of Bellator one time in Russia, permitted because of COVID-19 travel restrictions. He beat Adriano Rodrigues by a first-round armbar.

Homasi (15-9 MMA, 4-3 BMMA) fought three times in Koreshkov’s absence. He posted wins over Curtis Millender and Bobby Voelker and lost to Paul Daley.

The Bellator 264 card also includes champion Gegard Mousasi vs. John Salter for the middleweight title, as well as Everett Cummings vs. Davion Franklin.
