The event featured a successful middleweight title defense by reigning division king Gegard Mousasi, as he stopped top contender John Salter in the third round by technical knockout. In the co-main evnet, former welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov returned to the promotion for the first time in nearly two years and scored a unanimous decision win over Sabah Homasi.
In other main card action, fourth-ranked bantamweight Raufeon Stots pushed his name into the title picture with a win over third-ranked Russian star Magomed Magomedov. In addition, surging prospect, and seventh ranked heavyweight, Davion Franklin crushed MMA veteran Everett Cummings in just 21 seconds. Setting the stage for a big name opponent in just his fifth professional bout.
