At 50, Chuck Liddell says he is official retired from fighting… for now

UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell is back into retirement. At least, for now.

Liddell famously returned to the cage for a third fight with fellow Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz under the Golden Boy Promotions banner. Liddell had defeated Ortiz twice before when they fought for the UFC, but came up short in the trilogy bout. Ortiz knocked him out 4:24 into the opening round.

It had been eight years between fights for Liddell, who lost five of his last six UFC bouts, four by way of knockout.

It appears that the return bout with Ortiz will likely be the last for the 50-year-old Liddell, who told TMZ Sports that he is retired from fighting for now, if not forever.
