UFC Lincoln poster released

The intense stares of light heavyweight contenders Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira are featured on the poster for their upcoming main event fight at UFC Lincoln, which was released Monday.

With over 80 pro bouts combined between them, Smith (33-14) and Teixeira (30-7) remain in the thick of the UFC title picture and are in arm’s reach of a second crack at 205-pound champion Jon Jones. Smith rebounded from his loss to Jones with a fourth-round submission of Alexander Gustafsson, while Teixeira is currently riding a three-fight win streak.

Also booked for the April 25 show, which takes place at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb., is a key strawweight bout between Mackenzie Dern and Ariane Carnelossi.

The UFC Lincoln main card will air live on the ESPN+ streaming service.
