ESPN+, the home for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) pay-per-view (PPV) events, as well as select “Fight Night” cards, will introduce a price increase for all new monthly subscribers beginning August 2020, according to a report from The Verge.

What is now $4.99/mo. will jump to $5.99/mo., though it should be noted the annual membership price of $49.99 will remain the same for those sports fans unafraid of commitment. In addition, existing subscribers already on the monthly payment plan will retain the $4.99 rate for an addition year before switching over to the increased rate.

That means if you haven’t yet subscribed to ESPN+, which features exclusive content across a wide range of sports, you have about a month left to get in under the existing rate. With UFC 251 coming up in less than two weeks — followed by another three fight cards on the digital streaming network — there has never been a better (or more economical) time to sign up.
