A fight between Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira — which was set to headline UFC Vegas 10 on Sept. 12, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada — has been postponed after Teixeira tested positive for COVID-19.

That’s according to a report from ESPN which revealed that the Light Heavyweight affair will now go down on Oct. 3, 2020. That means that the bout will no longer be five rounds since it will be the co-main event to the Holly Holm vs Irene Aldana headliner.

Time to draw up a new poster.

The fight will be Thiago’s first in over a year after hitting the surgery room to repair a torn up knee thanks to his five-round war against Jon Jones at UFC 239. As for Teixeira, he is looking for his fifth straight win in order to get closer to another shot at the title.

As it stands a women’s Strawweight bout between Angela Hill and Michell Waterson will likely be promoted to headline UFC Vegas 10, set to go down inside UFC APEX.
