Another UFC veteran is headed to Bellator.

This time it’s Welsh bantamweight Brett Johns, who has agreed to a multifight deal with the promotion, sources told ESPN.

Johns, 28, who is coming off a unanimous decision win over Montel Jackson, recently fought out his UFC contract. After testing free agency, he decided to sign with Bellator.

Johns leaves the UFC on a two-fight winning streak and with a 5-2 record inside the Octagon.

Arguably Johns’ best moment in the UFC came in 2017, when he defeated former title contender Joe Soto via calf slicer. The finish was considered one of the best submissions of the year.

His Bellator debut isn’t set yet, according to sources.

The Johns signing comes after Bellator recently inked UFC veterans Corey Anderson and Rustam Khabilov, as well as Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov.
