Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight title contenders Ryan Bader and Anthony Johnson will face off for a second time this Sunday as part of Submission Underground 19, streaming live on UFC Fight Pass.

“Darth,” who was put out to pasture by “Rumble” when they headlined the UFC on FOX event back in early 2016, stepped up on short notice to replace former UFC heavyweight champion and grappling wunderkind Fabricio Werdum.

“Well, we had a change of opponent for Submission Underground aka Grappling, now I’m competing against the crazy athletic Ryan Bader,” Johnson wrote on social media. “Much respect to this man for stepping in as a late replacement. Love his drive for competition.”

Johnson may end up facing Bader for a third time now that “Rumble” has signed with Bellator MMA, where “Darth” competes in both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions.

Assuming this hungry knockout artist doesn’t get to them first.
