UFC Vegas 17 is down one fighter after lightweight vet Rick Glenn was forced to withdraw from a fight against Carlton Minus on Saturday’s fight card in Las Vegas.

Multiple people with knowledge of the shift confirmed the news to MMA Fighting after a tweet from reporter Al Zullino; the reason for Glenn’s withdrawal could not be confirmed at the time of this writing. A replacement is being sought for Minus.

If Minus gets a new opponent, the fight card will hold steady at 14 bouts. Several matchups have been cancelled due to positive COVID-19 tests, including welterweight headliner Leon Edwards, who was scheduled to fight Khamzat Chimaev.

Minus hopes to earn his first UFC win after his octagon debut in August ended in a unanimous decision loss to Matthew Semelsberger.

Glenn, a six-fight UFC vet, most recently fell short on points in a November 2018 meeting with Kevin Aguilar.
