We are already one week removed from UFC 258, but Kamaru Usman’s main event win over Gilbert Burns still plays fresh in our minds.

Usman, who successfully defended his UFC welterweight title for a third-straight time at UFC 258, was supposed to have his hands full with Burns considering the two were old training partners. Outside of Burns landing an early flurry of power punches to put the champ on notice it was Usman who commanded the action from start to finish with a penetrating lead jab and kicks.

Usman’s main event efforts culminated with a third-round TKO finish over Burns, who had only been stopped once before in his career by way of strikes. It was a masterclass performance by Usman who is now receiving praise as one of the best welterweight fighters of all time.

You can now relive Usman’s title fight victory over Burns by watching the above UFC 258: “Fight Motion” video, courtesy of UFC. The action shows a unique slow-motion look at the fights that transpired one week ago, including Usman’s stoppage over “Durinho.”

As of now, Usman is likely to defend his UFC welterweight title next against Jorge Masvidal. Usman defeated “Gamebred” in their first meeting back at UFC 251 on “Fight Island,” but Masvidal only had a one week to prepare for that fight.
